Charlottesville Senior Portraits – Cara – FCHS – Class of 2015

I love this time of year! The weather is getting colder, the leaves are starting to change and I get to spend my time taking senior portraits! Last Saturday I photographed Cara, a senior from Fluvanna County High School. We started out at Beaver Dam Baptist Church where Cara’s father is the Pastor. There we found the a tree that was absolutely beautiful! The leaves had turned yellow and the sunlight coming through was just gorgeous! Speaking of gorgeous, how awesome is Cara’s hair?

We then moved on to a nearby farm. What an amazing location! There were so many wonderful spots to use, and I am in love with the flower garden they had there! Cara is good friends with my assistant Erin and she also brought along another friend Abbey. I love it when seniors bring friends along to their senior portraits. It’s always fun to have a good friend with you, plus you get some great photos of the two (or in this case three) of you together! I had such a wonderful time with the three of them…I spent most of the session laughing! I’m really looking forward to photographing Erin & Abbey in a few weeks.

Charlottesville Senior Portraits – Cece – MHS – Class of 2015

Senior portrait season is going strong and I am having so much fun with the Class of 2015! Last week I photographed Cece, a senior from Monticello High School. She wanted her senior portraits to take place at her home in Charlottesville, Virginia. What a great location…I especially loved the split rain fence that they made!

It was a fabulous afternoon, with a beautiful blue sky, tons of sunshine and the leaves were just starting to change. I am so glad fall is finally here, it’s my favorite time of year! I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with Cece and her family. I took Good luck with your future Cece and enjoy the rest of your senior year!

Senior Portraits – Siena I MHS – Class of 2015 (Charlottesville VA Portrait Photographer)

I love both urban and natural locations so when I can combine them into one session, it’s perfect! That’s what Siena, a senior from Monticello High School, wanted for her senior portraits and I was more than happy to oblige. We started out in downtown Charlottesville where we visited some of my favorite locations and even found a few new ones. That’s one of the things I love about urban session…things are always changing so no two session are ever the same!

We then moved onto the natural part of her session where we were lucky enough to find a few area with some blooming flowers. Siena was a natural in front of the camera. I hardly had to give her any direction at all…she pulled off every pose I gave her perfectly!
