One of the things I love about taking senior portraits in the Central Virginia area is how many different families I get to work with. Steven, a senior from Fluvanna County High School’s Class of 2019 is a perfect example!
I took his sister Brianne’s senior portraits back in 2015 and had the best time with her (and the whole family) so I was super excited to work with them again!
We met at Pleasant Grove to take his casual photos first. Sometimes it can take a little while to warm up to the camera. Since Steven brought a friend with him, getting real smiles from the very beginning wasn’t a problem!
Remember that saying about eyes being the window to the soul? Wowza!!
We them headed overto FCHS for the baseball part of the session. After a few posed photos, (love the photo of him playing t-ball when he was little!) we moved onto the action shots!
I’ve taken baseball photos before but this was my first time using a new lens and lighting set up. I was thrilled with the results! It took a few tries and must have hurt like crazy but Steven didn’t complain once!
Thank you for all your hard work Steven! I loved spending the afternoon with you and your family. Enjoy the rest of your senior year and good luck with your future!!
