I hope everyone enjoyed enjoyed the holidays! I’ve been a little MIA but I’m back and ready to start updating my website with Senior Portraits Charlottesville Virginia with the Class of 2020 !
Let me introduce Carrie, a beautiful senior from William Monroe High School. Carrie is on my Creative Team for the Class of 2020 and is an absolute sweetheart! This isn’t my first time working with her though. Back in March of 2017, her step-mother Wendy contacted me to take some pageant headshots. After the traditional shots were out of the way, we played around a little and got this wonderful photo! I had so much fun with the two of them!
Time flew by and when it was time for Carrie to be a senior, they came back for her senior portraits! I was happy to take her portraits but was even more excited to have her join my creative team! In addition her regular senior portraits, the AJP Creative Team has the opportunity to participate in the interesting themed shoots that I love so much. They will also be the people I turn to when I update my marketing materials, teach lighting classes or when I just want to get creative and try something new.
Our first session was a super quick studio meetup. It was a great way for me to meet my Creative Team and get them used to being in front of the camera. Of course Carrie was already used to being in front of the camera and as usual she was amazing!
Our next session was a perfect example of trying something new. These photos are probably not something Carrie would do on her own (especially the serious expression!) but man she rocked the session! I loved how they turned out!
Carrie also modeled for me (along with Maddie, another member of my 2020 Creative Team) when I taught a lighting class. I swear, it seems like awesome sunsets follow these girls around!
Her senior portraits, took place in September. It was a little hot and humid, September in Virginia usually is, but Carrie took it all in stride and smiled the whole time. She truly is one of the most positive people I’ve ever met!
I hope none of you get sick but if you ever have the need for a nursing assistant, Carrie would definitely have the best bedside manner!! Her smile alone would make you feel better! 🙂
Super sweet, compassionate, beautiful and smart? No wonder Carrie was crowned Miss Greene!
We ended the session with a gorgeous sunset. It was like we planned it because the orange sky perfectly complimented Carrie’s gown!
Thank you Carrie and Wendy for a fun filled afternoon!! I can not WAIT until next time!
