Today on the blog we have Amy, an amazing senior from Fluvanna County High School Class of 2021’s Senior Portrait Photographer Charlottesville Virginia!

It happens every fall, my schedule gets so busy that I fall behind with posting my portrait sessions. This year I’m more behind than ever. The upside though, is I can combine all three of Amy’s sessions at once!
Her first session took place in July. Because it’s usually crazy hot and humid, I don’t have many outdoor sessions late-summer. Frizzy hair and sweaty skin don’t usually make for good photos!
You’d never know how hot it was though…Amy looks gorgeous and happy as can be!
While Amy spent a lot of her session laughing (which I absolutely LOVE!) I had to get a few serious ones. Look at how beautiful this is!!
Usually I limit an outfit to one location but this location just screamed for the red dress to resurface!
At the end of Amy’s session, I saw a tree with a bunch of low hanging branches. She must have thought I was crazy when I told her to stand inside the branches and asked for a serious look.
Except for sports images, I don’t share a lot of black and white photos. I knew that this shot was destined for a black and white version! Man!! Those eyes!!!
Before we knew it, October was here and it was time for Amy’s second session. One of the great things about multiple sessions is you can have two entirely different looks, both with clothes and hair!
I’ve never taken so many laughing photos of one person but that’s totally Amy’s personality!
Amy is a Northern District Ambassador so of course we included a photo with her 4-H shirt.
We ended the session with one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen!

A few months later, we had her studio sports session. Though she played many sports in high school, Amy recently committed to play volleyball at Delaware Valley University so it’s no surprise what she chose for her studio sports session. Congratulations Amy!!
Okay this is just drop dead over the top insanely gorgeous!!
