Happy New Year! After the busy fall I’ve had, I decided to take a little break from my photography world. I really enjoyed spending Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family but I am super excited to get back to work, which means senior portraits! A few days before Christmas, I met up with Leslie, one of my Fluvanna County High School senior reps. We had her mini-session back in July but with her busy fall schedule, we decided to have her main session in the spring and her personalized senior rep session first!
Leslie is an AMAZING volleyball player (she’ll be playing for the University of Mary Washington in the fall) so of course we had to incorporate it into her personalized session. Since we had the session during winter break, Leslie’s volleyball coach was nice enough to let us into the FCHS gym…thank again Mrs. Harlowe! For the posed shots, I wanted to capture dramatic looks to go with the lighting I was using. Of course Leslie totally killed it! I swear if she ever gets tired with volleyball, she should consider modeling! 🙂
